The celebrated couple of Rachel Yang and Seif Chirchi have done it again. A small piece of Korean Street Food Heaven. “Asian street food with an edge!” said JP, one of my eating companions. In the Center of the Universe, Fremont no less!! Are you friggin kiddin me? One of the best meals I have had in a long, long time. Last Friday night I took 7 friends to enjoy an incredible meal in the heart of Fremont. Surrounded by other hip spots this newly crowned jewel did not disappoint us. Through 4 bottles of wine and almost every dish on the menu, the entire 2 hours were spent eating some of the tastiest creations ever. Two of the evenings top favorites: The Asian pancakes, the one with pork belly, kimchi and bean sprouts and the featured homemade noodles with five-spiced duck balls, lacinato kale, and smoked chili. Rain Sushi is located in the heart of Wallingford and specializes in Japanese cuisine. I was hanging out the other night with my friend’s Jason and Kim and we were completely blown away by how remarkable the food was. Maybe it was because of all the Sake…or maybe it was because it is amazing all the time and every time I go there. I like going here and meeting lots of new cool people. Maybe even having some extracurricular activities occur later in the evening. You can definitely meet some fascinating people. Just the other night I saw the former drummer for The Screaming Trees. He was in displaying some of his newest art and enjoying a bite with friends.
